About this Boat

This is a very rare opportunity to own a part of British and Norfolk History built in 1938 and built from  Hardwood (Teak) Hull on Oak frame. A O King of Wroxham  ‘Crimson Dawn’ Spent war years on Salhouse Broad to deter enemy landings, purchased by two Lancaster pilots after the war and remained in their ownership (Colin Dawson) for many years on the Broads and in undercover storage.

She has four berth capabilities made up by four single beds in two separate cabins. Her galley consists of a large work-surface, hob, grill, oven, fridge, galley sink with hot and cold running water. Warm air heating is also provided throughout the boat.

There is a private wash room with a shower, wash basin and a toilet which is in the form of a pump out and holding tank configuration.

She has undergone a full engine service, Tar varnish, anode change and Antifoul every single year since 2014 right up until her most recent in April 2024.

This boat holds a current Broads river licence and a Boat Safety Scheme Certificate running until 09/05/2026.

“James knew his game! Having observed many similar boats remain unsold elsewhere I was a little dubious about ours being sold, i fully relied upon James who informed me throughout the process, estimated the value and she sold very soon after. He held firm on our agreed price, following the sale, Lynne took over and everything was a smooth transition. Top quality! Without doubt i would recommend Waterside. ”
