Waterside Marine Sales are proud to present a brilliant British classic. This Freeman 26 family cruiser has been immaculately cared for by the same owner for the past 11 years.
This Freeman 26 offers 4 berth capability, original gel coat, original wood, the Ford Sea Tiger 1600 single petrol engine had new coils, plugs, oil and filter in 2021 there are 2 x 110 amp batteries (1 new 2021), 1 x 50 amp.
She was anti-fouled in 2020, the 3 year old Bailey and Stone canopy is in very good condition, there is a gas blown air heating system, fridge, shore power, calorifier for hot and cold water, bilge blowers, ignition spares and davits.
The galley has a Nelson cooker, stainless steel sink, worktop with cupboards under.
Separate toilet compartment has a porta potti.
Cordwainer has Boat Safety Scheme Certificate to 2025 and a Broads river licence to March 2024
A bit of Freeman history – Using the same hull as the Freeman 25, the Freeman 26’s superstructure was developed from the Freeman 22 Mk2. We see the return of the step in the deck and larger cabin windows. The Freeman 26 offers larger accommodation and together with the Freeman 22 Mk2 formed the back bone of what is generally known as the Freeman range.
